#6 - ​Demo Release & Gameplay Explain (Roguelike Deckbuilding)

After months of development, our demo game is finally ready! We would like to invite players, especially deckbuilding game lovers to have a try and share your valuable feedback with us.

What is included in the demo?

The demo is not just a mini version of our full game, but a specially designed version with a few bosses and 3 story endings for players to challenge! Players can enjoy the game for several playthroughs to experience all the contents.
In the demo version, there are 22 cards with the theme of School of Art. For the full version, we would like to provide up to 4 Schools, including Engineering, Science and Sociology.

Will the demo be multi-language?

Yes. Although the current demo is in English, we are preparing for the Chinese and Japanese translations to be released in September 2022. Please stay tuned if you would like to try the game with Chinese or Japanese subtitles!

How to play?

You can run the game with your browser, or download and play it on your Windows PC. The game will be auto-saved at home scene, and after every scheduled action on the schedule.

What should I do if I find a bug or do not know how to play?

Please join our Discord channel and share your experience with our game development team. You may also reach us through itch.io and other social media channels. We will try our best to help you!

What content is included in the demo?

In this demo, you can experience the pre-apocalypse life with card battles, story events, and restaurant visits.

There is a help button at the corner offering explanations of the game rules. You can always open it to learn about how to play.

When the apocalypse percentage at the top left hand corners turns 100% or you collected enough ending scores, there will be options selectable at Decode. You may select the one you like to enter the final battles. If you win, you will reach the mini-story end. In this demo, there is 3 mini story end for you to challenge. Collect them all to beat this game!!

The most complicated part of the game is the card battle. Please refer to the following image to learn about how to play:


1. There are action point requirements on each card. You will have to spend action points to use the cards unless the requirement is zero.

2. You may click "end turn" if you have no more cards to use. Your action points will be restored every time at the beginning of your turn.

3. All blue color icons are your status, while all the red color ones are the enemy status.

4. Your health point. If it turns to zero, you will lose.

5. Your enemy's health point. If it turns to zero, you will win.

6. This is the enemy's intention. In your turn, you can carry out actions in response to it.

7. This is your shield. It can protect your contest point from damage.

8. This is your enemy's shield. It can protect your contest point from damage.

9. This is called "Contest-Point". These are the points where the main "battles" take place. The attack you applied on the contest point will also be reflected on the enemy's health point. What is more, if you scored higher at the contest point, you may get bonuses at the beginning of your turn. Please hover on the point and check what bonus you may get.

10. Some enemies have special skills and you may check them out here.

11. Idea. Another resource that you may use. Unlike action points which will be reset every turn, ideas are accumulative in each battle.
